Ashadihan Heads to Falmouth
Ashadihan is on course for her next run in the 2016 Group 1 Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket's Moet and Chandon Festival at the July Course.
On her previous outing, Ashadihan finished 6th of 13 beaten only 4 lenghts on ground that was definitely not ideal, as well as losing a few lenghts coming out of the stalls. The Falmouth will mark the first time Ashadihan will face older mares, however her Ascot performance showed an abundance of potential and a clear ability to mix it with the best of the best and connections must be confident of a good show should she get better ground.
At this stage Europe's best fillies and mares remain in with Ashadihan set to face the undisputed best classic filly of the year in Minding, Duke of Cambridge winner Usherette, Coronation Stakes winner Qemah, Irish Guineas winner Jet Setting and the globe-trotting Euro Charline amongst a host of other proven mares and unknown quantities in the race.
Highbank wish the best of luck to connections, and hopefully the rain stays away.
